Great fryer!!

I want to emphasize how great this fryer is! I really love it. I don't have to worry about the coating peeling off like my old fryer because this one is made of stainless steel. The basket is a good size, and it's easy to clean, although I prefer to hand wash it. It does a great job of filtering the oil, and I don't have to worry about finding a place to store the used oil. On my first use, I made beautiful Korokke (Potato croquettes) as shown in these photos..

OMG clean and easy

The fryer strange the oil after each use so I've used it for four batches this week. Hasn't left my counter yet. It leaves the crumbs in the fry Basin for easy cleaning and strains the clean oil into an enclosed plastic container below. Once it gets too dark I'll swap it out, but so far it's looking pretty clean between batches. And next to zero mess. This makes frying so much easier.

Powerful machine

I enjoy using this big powerful new machine. It fries about a pound and a half of potatoes (dry weight before peeling) per batch, or four small white flour tortillas cut into pieces, which I fry as a low-sodium alternative to packaged tortilla chips. I appreciate the numerical temerature guage as opposed to the "low/medium/high" setting on other models (though I have not tested its accuracy with a thermometer). It ranges from 150C to 190C (302F to 374F).I normally fry with the lid off, because otherwise the steam exits near the back of the unit, causing severe immediate discoloration to my wood cabinets directly above. For the same reason, I also move the unit to the front edge of the counter. This makes me a little nervous, as the handle of the basket sticks out where someone (like my child) could easily tip the unit over, spilling boiling oil.I periodically disassemble the unit for cleaning, and true to its word, all parts except the controls and cord can safely be washed. It's pretty easy, although it does still take some time to scrub and dry all the surfaces. I leave the basket out to drip dry, since there's no easy way to wipe it. I've also run the parts through the dishwasher once or twice, with no issues.Some oil splatter on the counter is inevitable, and the plastic parts of the exterior tend to be oily, even after wiping. I go through a lot of paper towels when frying. The feature to drain and filter the oil is nice. It won't eliminate odor and discoloration, but it will get rid of crumbs. Be careful not to overfill with oil, or else it will exceed the capacity of the plastic pan at the bottom and oil will spill out all over. There are two notches on the inside of the pan to show the min and max height to fill with oil. I've determined I should fill it slightly below the upper notch. That is with the basket and heating element already inside.I've established a hierarchy of foods whereby I try to avoid frying something lower in the hierarchy in the same oil

It cooks very well I love it

This Deep Fryer is a must love the way it cooks my chicken and Fries Crispy. I do recommend this to Buyers. Great Deep Fryer it is very sturdy cooks food evenly and heats up very affective and fast.
